How long does a king size mattress last?
King Size Beds’ average lifetime is estimated to be between 7 – 10 years, however, at Comfy Beds we are not average. We strive for customer quality and that includes a long-lasting bed. We are so confident we do not only offer longer guarantees but even longer warranties.
Don’t believe us, then check out the Restonic iDream Dream Whisper Plush (I know, what a name) and see for yourself that it comes with a 3-year guarantee and a 17-year warranty! 17 years may sound like a ridiculous time, but with Seaqual™ technology, advanced memory gel and a fluted base we are more than certain that this will last you much longer than expected.
How big of a room do you need for a king bed?
This might seem like an unusual question but is asked to allot more than you would think. When purchasing King Size Beds you should always consider the exact size and measurements of it. You would need enough free space around the bed to move around freely and to also fit other things in your room, like a tv, because let’s be honest, what’s the use of a bed if there’s no tv to watch while lying in one of our luxurious beds.
Luckily, at Comfy Beds we give all bed sizes, and not just the mattress alone, but the whole bed set size. If you take a look at one of our largest beds, the Restonic iDream Dream Star XL, it measures 260mm (Mattress) + 280mm (Bed Base) + 140mm (Tall Leg). With exact measurements like these, it is much easier to plan accordingly when purchasing King Size beds.
Is a queen or king better?
There can be a whole debate about which size is better, but and the end of the day it all comes down to the customer’s preference. While both are big bed sizes and considered the hierarchy of the bed size family, hence the names, the King Size is bigger. The King Size is effectively wider than a queen Size, which gives the sleeper a bigger area to fall around in their sleep because face it, everyone is a bit wild in their sleep.
Comfy Beds proves this in their products by providing precise measurements of their beds. When looking at the Hi-Tech Supreme Bed Queen Size (152cm in width) and comparing it with our Rejuvenate Memory Foam Bed Set King Size (183cm in width) you can see the difference in width sizes.
